SHORT-TERM MISSIONS

A short-term call to missions can be rewarding!  With modern means of travel it is possible for individuals and/or teams to go to many areas of the world in just a matter of hours.  We can contribute our time, talents and resources to a mission project or to preaching and teaching the Word of God and then return home all within a week to twelve days.  What an exciting time in which to live!  What an exciting opportunity!

Just how meaningful would a short-term visit be?nbsp; Thousands of facilities such as churches, Bible schools, orphananges, parsonaages and medical clinics, as well as an untold number of projects such as roadways and water systems have been built by people just like you.  Adding to this all of the dental, optometrical, and medical work performed, the benefit and significance of the short-term missionary becomes obvious.  Because Christians have cared enough to go, innumerable works have been accomplished.  This is truly the word of God being preached and taught as LOVE IN ACTION.

In obedience to the call people go for just one or two weeks and accomplish much to the glory of God.
